This is a video recorder presented by Dahua Technology.
WizSense is a series of video recording devices with artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that use an independent AI chip and deep learning algorithm. It focuses on accurately recognizing people and vehicles, enabling users to quickly respond to specific targets. For example, reporting on unexpected human entry into a designated area, and more.

This is a hybrid analog device primarily designed for use with HD analog cameras such as HD-CVI, AHD, HD-TVI, as well as the old analog video surveillance standard CVBS. It also provides the ability to connect IP cameras, known as network cameras.

Dahua Technology introduced the new XVR series, XVR5000-I3, offering full-channel SMD Plus for all video channels (except for 32-channel devices) to benefit from AI upgrades. These series are designed to reduce false alarm levels and human surveillance costs, thus providing great value to customers seeking products with accurate human/vehicle alarm notifications to enhance the security level of various indoor and outdoor objects.

Real-Time Face Recognition
Real-time face recognition is provided in the video stream. Facial feature analysis capabilities include gender, age, expression, glasses, mustache, mouth mask. It identifies people and also captures and records faces with metadata. Facial feature filtering in real-time display shows only faces with target features.

Perimeter Protection
Automatically filters out false alarms caused by animals, rustling leaves, bright lights, etc. Enables the system to perform secondary recognition for targets, improving alarm accuracy.

SMD Plus
SMD Plus, referred to as "Smart Motion Detection Plus," is an upgraded version of SMD that significantly improves alarm accuracy by loading a deep-learning algorithm. It analyzes person and vehicle shapes based on motion detection and sends alarms only when persons and vehicles intrude.

AI Coding (video compression)
Compared to H.265, AI video compression technology can reduce bit rates and storage requirements by up to 50%, maintaining decoding compatibility and providing clear details of humans and vehicles.

Smart H.265+
Smart Codec, H.265+, can reduce bit rates and storage requirements by up to 90% compared to H.264 without having to invest in new cameras.

HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS Auto-Detect
The XVR can automatically recognize the signal of the front camera without any settings. This makes operation more user-friendly and convenient.

High Definition Camera Input
The XVR supports up to 5MP HDCVI (AHD/TVI/CVBS) cameras and 6MP IP cameras for connectivity and video display.

Coaxial Audio/Upgrade/Alarm
The integrated design can reduce wiring troubles, making it more cost-effective and convenient for installation.

Long-Distance Transmission
The HDCVI system supports long-distance transmission over coaxial cable and UTP (CAT5) cable, up to 700 m for 4K/4MP, 800 m for 1080p, and 1200 m for 720p.

AI Search
Extract and classify persons and vehicles from massive video data, making it easy for end-users to trace historical information and analyze. Person & Vehicle options for playback achieve quick target search, saving event retrieval time.
